Founded by nurse practitioner Rachael Bakelman, APRN, our mission is to deliver accessible, personalized, whole-person healthcare to individuals and families across Florida, Georgia, Delaware, Texas, and Oregon.
We believe healthcare should feel collaborative, thoughtful, and empowering—not rushed or transactional. Our model blends evidence-based medical care with functional and lifestyle medicine to get to the root of symptoms, optimize long-term wellness, and support each patient as a whole human being.

Our Story
After more than a decade each in healthcare, we witnessed firsthand how the traditional primary care model was shifting—shorter appointments, overwhelmed providers, and patients feeling unseen in a system meant to serve them. We entered this field to make a difference, yet too often we found ourselves working within structures that left little room for genuine connection, root-cause investigation, or meaningful patient relationships.
We both grew up with a different kind of healthcare—the kind where your primary care provider knew your name, your story, your family, and your goals. The neighborhood doctor wasn’t just a clinician; they were a trusted partner, someone you could reach easily and rely on. Healthcare felt human.
We created Integrative Health Co. to bring that feeling back.
